Being healthy and fit plays a key role in your overall well-being. If you are healthy and fit you will feel your best in performing day to day activities, your sex drive is heightened and you will accomplish more. These are just some of the reasons why you should establish a lifetime fitness routine and it is not an option. What happens is most guys stop doing any physical activities once they reach the ages of 30 through 35 and before you know it you are totally out of shape. Your stomach starts to grow bigger than your chest, you have man boobs and when you look down you can’t even see your penis. Let’s not let this happen or if it already has let’s correct it. In this section I will provide you with an outline on how to stay physically fit for a lifetime.
The first thing that you must do is to create good habits. This means you must start eating healthy, perform consistent workout regimen and get adequate sleep. You are probably wondering why I speaking about eating healthy in a fitness article and this is because you can go to the gym for two hours a day for seven days a week and do all the correct workout routines, but not be as fit as you should be because you may be sabotaging yourself with consuming too much alcohol, sugar, bad carbs, red meats and pork. What you must realize that you can’t out run or out lift a bad diet. Eighty-five percent of being fit is what you eat. With that said, here are a few suggestions to establish fundamental eating habits that will assist in building lean muscle mass:
• Try not to eat anything that has more than 2 grams of sugar and don’t use sugar substitutes;
• Substitute sugars cravings with fruit;
• Drink plenty of water;
• Do not eat anything white except cauliflower;
• If you must eat bread only eat whole grain;
• Don’t eat processed foods;
• Reduce your dairy consumption;
• Eat plenty of green vegetables;
• For protein sources eat fish, chicken and turkey.
Health is a state of complete mental, physical, social, and spiritual well-being and not just absence of a disease or illness. Fitness, on the other hand, is the ability of a person to meet his daily needs, which can differ from person to person. To achieve an enhanced quality of life, both health and fitness are essential. Living a healthy lifestyle will only deprive you of poor health, lethargy and fat and crown you with speed, power as well as vigor.
You should work towards maximizing your level of health, wellness and fitness to live long, full and happy lives. The pursuit of health, personal growth and improved quality of life relies on living a balanced life. To achieve balance, you need to care for your mind, body and spirit. This can be achieved by keeping your body healthy and fit. Your body parts are like tools of a machine. Keeping them rust free or, in other words, keeping them functioning should be your duty and moral obligation. A mechanic still has an option of replacing his tools but you have to live with yours for the rest of your life. Therefore, you should take care of your body, because it is all worth it!
